Eligibility
Members in good standing who temporarily stop practice due to the birth/adoption of a child, or for medical illness, are eligible. Please note, those continuing with elective, part-time practice are not eligible.
Membership Dues
The payment of membership dues will be put on hold in the calendar year in which the leave was requested. If dues were already paid for the current year, no refunds will be offered but the amount paid in the current year will be credited towards the upcoming year.
At least one (1) year of paid membership with the association must occur in between any additional leaves of absence.
How to Apply
Members interested in applying for a reduced fee should send a written request to the CDA via members@dermatology.ca that includes the dates of their leave.
