BEWARE OF FALSE CLAIMS: CDA PRODUCT RECOGNITION EXPLAINED
The Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) recognizes products exclusively through our official Product Recognition Program. All recognized products are listed here. Authentic recognition can be verified by the presence of our trademarked CDA logo on the physical products as well as an official recognition statement on print and online advertisements. The CDA recognized logo, and associated marks are registered trademarks of the CDA.
Our recognition indicates that products have met specific scientific standards established by our program as of the product’s evaluation date. Recognition does not constitute a general endorsement of all aspects or claims related to these products.
Unauthorized use of CDA trademarks or false claims of CDA recognition may constitute trademark infringement and false advertising. To report potential misuse or verify recognition status, please contact lookforthelogo@dermatology.ca.

Guided by the Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA), our Skin Health Program (SHP) is your roadmap to healthier skin as it recognizes skincare products that meet some simple but important criteria:
Fragrance-free or unscented
Gentle on skin to avoid skin irritation
Do not contain common allergens
Do not clog pores

Products recognized by the Skin Health Program (SHP), launched in 2012, are assessed by a scientific expert panel of Certified Dermatologists, who follow the most recent advancements to help Canadians and their families enjoy the best possible skin care products available. The program also provides advice for the maintenance of healthy skin, hair, and nails.
We’re here to help. If you see our Recognized Skin Health logo on products, you can trust that they are fragrance-free or unscented, gentle on skin to avoid skin irritation, do not contain common allergens and do not clog pores.
