CDA-RFS Representative 2024-2025
Dr. Kayadri Ratnarajah is currently a third-year dermatology resident at McGill University. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Ratnarajah began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University, followed by medical training at Université Laval and two years of residency in Sherbrooke.
Dr. Ratnarajah was drawn to dermatology for its intellectually stimulating and multifaceted nature. The specialty’s integration of cognitive, visual, and tactile approaches aligns with her professional aspirations, offering a unique opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients.
As she advances through her residency, Dr. Ratnarajah is actively involved in various academic pursuits, including research, teaching, and leadership. She has shown dedication to patient care throughout her clinical training and has provided support to her colleagues in various capacities. She has had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident of Dermatology and CDA-RFS representative for the 2023-2024 academic year.

I am committed to expanding educational resources and implementing impactful educational initiatives that not only assist residents throughout their training but also contribute to the success of the CDA and the advancement of our specialty.”
Dr. Ratnarajah’s focus on enhancing patient care and strengthening the resident community reflects her drive to contribute to the growth and integrity of the dermatology specialty in Canada, closely aligning with the values upheld by the CDA.
