Dr. Ringuet is a board-certified dermatologist who practices in Quebec City, QC, his alma mater. He dedicates his practice to research and medical dermatology, serving as the principal investigator and medical director at the Centre de Recherche Dermatologique de Québec (CRDQ). His training background includes a bachelor’s degree in biology, followed by medical training (MD) and postgraduate studies in dermatology from Laval University, as well as a master’s in experimental medicine (MSc.) in the field of skin bioengineering at the Laboratoire d’Organogénèse Expérimentale de l’Université Laval (LOEX/CMDGT).
At the CRDQ, Dr. Ringuet and his team are dedicated to providing patients access to quality and innovative public dermatological care and clinical trials focused on alopecia areata, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and its variants, as well as vitiligo. To date, he has led, as a principal investigator, more than 50 phase 2, 3, and 4 clinical trials. His dedicated work and contribution on a regional and national level led to various teaching initiatives, continuous medical education, and publications.
Dr. Ringuet has been a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) since his practice debut in 2020, as well as the Education Committee since 2023. He is currently the Treasurer-Elect on the Board of Directors and is determined to optimize the organization’s structure around its main advocacy goals. Maintaining an optimal financial situation is of outmost importance to ensure the timely availability of necessary resources for the appropriate projects. His expertise and leadership in managing a prolific clinical trial unit translate into his role at the CDA, where he ensures balance, equity, and reliability in financial decisions and management while always keeping the patients’ and CDA members’ interests at the forefront.

Dr. Ringuet brings to the CDA Board of Directors his kindness, leadership, and management skills, along with his steadfast dedication to supporting both the organization and dermatologists across Canada.
