Co-developed Webinar Series addressing Acne Management, Androgenetic Alopecia, and Racial/Ethnic Variations in Atopic Dermatitis
The following programs are being co-developed by L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty and the Canadian Dermatology Association, to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance.
Join speakers Dr. Jaggi Rao and Dr. Jerry Tan as they discuss acne patient management and challenges, explore adjunctive care in acne management, review guidelines for acne management, and address considerations for darker phototypes in acne management and adjunctive care choices. This will provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of acne management, including challenges, the role of adjunctive care, recommended guidelines, and specific considerations for individuals with darker skin tones.

Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) is the most common form of hair loss and is a joint concern for men and women in all societies. Currently, there are no clear Canadian guidelines on how to manage AGA, despite the numerous publications, research, and treatments available for the management of type of hair loss.

- Understand the importance and rationale behind establishing a Canadian consensus on AGA, highlighting the need for standardized guidelines and treatment recommendations.
- Explore the comprehensive Canadian consensus on AGA, encompassing evidence-based interventions, treatment options, and a practical treatment algorithm for dermatologists and prescribing physicians.
Understanding skin barrier differences and racial/ethnic variations in atopic dermatitis among Canadian populations is crucial for complete patient management and care. The aim of this webinar is to explore racial/ethnic variations in atopic dermatitis highlighting the consensus from ethnodermatology experts. In addition, the session will discuss managing atopic dermatitis in diverse racial/ethnic groups in Canada. By achieving these goals, individuals can gain valuable insights into inclusive and effective dermatological practices.
